I'm Andy Page and I've been practising photography in one form or another since my mid-teens and my journey has seen me move through various film cameras from 35mm SLR to 6x6 Twin Lens Reflex and 6x4 Medium Format.
I'm now fully digital and my current camera is a Fuji XT4 mirrorless camera.
My preferred subject matter is the great British outdoors, namely landscapes and scenics. I revel in experiencing and capturing the sheer variety of scenes available throughout our seasons.
In more recent times I have also come to enjoy outdoor creative and abstract techniques and am continually honing these skills in making unique imagery.
I'm a firm advocate for the 'craft' of photography and see the process as a journey of continuous development no matter how experienced we are or the kit we use.
Developing a good eye for composition, being aware of the play of light and sheer persistence are just the beginning of key 'soft' skills alongside the technical issues of camera controls and features and equipment.
I'm an experienced workshop leader with several years under my belt working in either one to one or small group situations at a variety of locations.
I also teach post processing skills, primarily Adobe Lightroom, on a one to one basis either online or in my own home.
